Miss Violet´s father is dead. Her mum and she, didn´t have much money. Two men called them, Mr Carruthers and Mr Woodley.Mr Carruthers andMr Woodley tell Miss Violet that her uncle in Africa is dead. Violet goes to Sherlock Holmes asking for help.She and her mother had gone to London looking for a job.Mr Carruters and Mr Woodley. Mr Woodley was too friendly but Violet was getting married to Cyril. Violet started working as a music teacher .
Mr Woodley wantedto marry Violet. Mr Carruters had a fight with Mr Woodley and told Violet that he would never come back again.
Every Saturday morning a man followed her at aboutzoom distance.
Holmes went to investigate. The next day Holmes got a letter that said that Mr Carruthers had asked her and that she was leaving.
Holmes got into afight with Woodley. The next day Holmes couldn`t find Violet. Suddenly he had an idea. He ran to a garden in a house. There was Violet and Mr Woodley getting married.Violet was very sad. Mr Carruter appeared and shot Mr Woodley. Holmes got the gun from him. Mr Woodley was OK and so was Violet because the man who had married themwasn`t a real vicar. Mr Woodley said how he was the man that followd Violet but he did it because he loved her and wanted to make sure nothing happened to her. Holmesknew the story.
Mr Carruthers and Woodley had come from South Africa where a rich man had said that he would give his fortune to Violet but Mr Carruther fell inlove with her and decided to protect her. That’s why only Woodley and the vicar went to prison.
