A.- What makes a good teacher?

1.- Think of two good teachers from your past. What personal qualities do/did they share?

Teachers of Biology and Economics:

-They were like parents to us because they always gave us some advices to our lives.
- They made their classes interesting to us, so we enjoyed them.
- They had lots of knowledge about theirsubject, and about the others subject in our speciality at school.
- They were so responsible with their subject and with school.
- They helped us with our homeworks outside school.
-They were good looking.

2.- Rate the following teacher qualities in order of importance. (1-8).

B.- How Should Teachers Talk to Students?

1.- You want to tell a low-level class about what youdid last weekend. Write down the kind of language you might use.

“... Well students, now we are going to talk about our last weekend. In my case, the last Saturday I got up at half past seven, Ihad breakfast with my little son Martin, and then we went fishing. We ate fish and fruit next to the river. We arrived home at about six o’clock in the afternoon. Next day, we got up early, and we wentto the church. The language used by the teacher must not be with a complexgrammatical structure. Instead, it must include an easy vocabulary (for example: Daily Routine).
They also should use gestures, and expressions to facilitate the student’s comprehension.
