The importance of being bilingual

For me being bilingual is so important now, because you need at list now 2 languages and in the majority oftimes is by knowing English, English is so important now, because is one of the most spoken languages around the world, and you have to know Englishbecause can help you in the collage or even in a job, that’s why many schools are teaching this language to the students, to improve their future,because knowing English will open you a lot of doors in life; but not knowing English makes you bilingual, also German, Italian, Chinese… Any otherlanguage that is not the one you speak is important to learn and this also depends of what is your view about your own future. And in a personalopinion knowing English is so important because a lot of things now are written in English, and if you go on a trip where many people of differentcountries with different language, the majority will know to speak English to communicate each other, for example my family and I went to la Antigua oneSunday, and we were walking, and a women ask to a girl if she knew where was the big market, but the girl didn’t speak English and the women justtalked in English, so then she asked me if I knew where it was, so I explained her and she was very thankful because of founded someone that understandher, so that’s a personal reason of why is important being bilingual, because you don’t now what the future is preparing for you.
