SUMMARY
The research conducted it isabout the incidence of teenage pregnancy in teenagers between 13 and 19 years old, in relation to the type of family they belong. Objective. To determine the incidence of teenage pregnancy between 13and 19 years in relation to the type of family they belonged to before becoming pregnant, who come to the gynecological and obstetric service of general hospital Rafael Pascacio Gamboa. Design. Thestudy has a range CORRELATIONAL with NO EXPERIMENTAL CROSS mixed approach. Population. 30 teenage women who attended to the gynecological and obstetric service of general hospital Rafael Pascacio Gamboa.Results. In the 30 pregnancies reported in this study, the classification of the type of family they belonged to before becoming teenage pregnancy found that 13 belonged to a nuclear family(corresponding to 43% of the universe), a family of 6 3 generations, 5 to an extended family, a family monoparenteral 5, and 1 to that of older adults.
