UN SUEÑO
En visiones de la oscura noche he soñado en el gozo ya ido; per en un sueño de luz y vida ha dejado transido mi pecho.
Mas ¿Qué importa que sueñe de día aquel ser cuyos ojo despiden sobre todas las cosas de entorno un destello que vuelve al pasado?
Este sueño, este sueño bendito cuando el nunca discute y pelea me ha llenado de paz , como el rayo que es la guía delas almas solas.
Y aunque cruce es luz la tormenta y la noche , y titile a los lejos ¿Puede haber un destello tan puro cual la estrella de la realidad?

Las enramadas donde veo, en sueños las más variadas a veces cantoras, son labios y son
Tus musicales palabras susurradas.
Tus ojos, entronizados en el cielo,
Caen al fin desesperadamente,
¡Oh Dios! En mi sombría mente
Como luz deestrellas sobre velo.
Oh tu corazón suspiro al despertar
Y duermes para soñar hasta que raya el días , en la verdad que el oro jamás podrá comprar, y en las bagatelas que si podría.
