Insulin resistance


Glucose is the most important fluid and it’s extremely necessary for the performance of internal human parts but when the glucose is not transform and use correctly by thebody it can lead to many diseases like insulin resistance. Experts estimate that 25% of all American suffer from insulin resistance but what does insulin resistance means? It only means that the cellsin the body can no longer use the insulin that your body produces. Marcelle Pick explains that over 80 million Americans suffer from insulin resistance and it appears to sit at the center of a web ofrelated health problems (1).

Normally food its absorbed into the bloodstream in the form of glucose and other basic substances but the increase of sugar levels in the bloodstream give the pancreasa signal to increase the insulin production .this hormone attaches to cells removing the sugar from the blood this process it’s supposed to happen the whole life but when for some reason this processdoesn’t occur can lead to many complications.
The medical dictionary defines insulin resistance as the reduction of sensitivity to insulin by the body’s insulin dependent process .Over timepeople with insulin resistance can develop high sugar or diabetes so even though the body is producing insulin the cells are not able to use it.

• Obesity
• Kidney damage
