Early stimulation


is a set of techniques for developing the skills and abilities of children in


early childhood. The group of special educational techniquesused in


children between birth and six years of life to correct actual or potential


disturbances in their development, or to stimulate compensatorycapabilities. Contemplate the child interventions globally and programs


are developed taking into account both the individual and the family and


socialenvironment that surrounds it.

Early stimulation programs frequently use the game as a basis for the


development of skills.


The first six years oflife are characterized by a high degree of neuronal


plasticity or neural plasticity, which allows the acquisition of basic


functions such as postural control,gait or language. The gradual


achievement of milestones in this development will allow the emergence


and improvement of new skills (eg, the child must learn tohold his head,


controlling the muscles of the neck, so you can direct the light, which


increases motivation for run or eye contact as a means of socializing.The importance of early stimulation
