Types of Robots
Industrial machines orrobots are the most efficient workers in the earth. They can lift very heavy objects all times and they are amazingly efficient. They can work hours and hours, days and day, even weeks and they do notpresent fatigue and other defects humans present when they are tired. They are different types of robots. Some of the are these:
Cartesian or gantry robots- they are used to place objects. They have3 prismatic joints, whose axes are coincident with a Cartesian coordinator.
Cylindrical robots- it’s the same as the Cartesian robots but instead of the prismatic joins is a cylinder.
Polar robot-It's a robot whose axes form a polar coordinate system.
SCARA robot- It's a robot which has two parallel rotary joints to provide compliance in a plane.
Articulated robot- It's a robot whose arm hasat least three rotary joints.
Parallel robot- It's a robot whose arms have concurrent prismatic or rotary joints.
Robots are found in almost every industry. They can handle allot of things. Theymake cars, sport equipment, and inspect parts of different artifacts and other stuff.
Out of all that, robots are also found in medical support. They help rescuing several lives, because of theirefficiency, they are very helpful. Robots are also found in fighting fires machine and also in the warfare area.
Some robots help in the agricultural field. Some farmers used slow tractors that can vbeprogramed to go under an specific path. A robot agricultural harvester named Demeter is a model for commercializing mobile robotics technology. It is used to program and make the agriculture easier...
