This is a time when humanity begins to adopt the visual language as the mode of interpersonal communication. It is from this initial impact of the interpersonal relationship with a new language, which creates the need for our countries, their people literate in this language. Audiovisual culture was thereforean enormous importance. To reflect today on the Latin American audiovisual must consider the impact, the new meaning of the audiovisual, beyond film, beyond the traditional audio-visual products we know today as widespread language and as a means of communication between people. In Brazil, the Ministry of Culture has suggested the Ministry of Education to include audiovisual teaching at all levelsof education, from school to college, as taught to read and write in different languages. This is a suggestion still under study, since its adoption means money and another level of work, but we have to start doing so at sometime, our people literate in relation to this new language, which will also be used in interpersonal relationships . "Imagination is more important than knowledge." Only nowbeginning to understand what it is meant, because the concept of "imagination" has much to do with various aspects of this technological revolution that is occurring in art and in film.  Every day, new technologies are accelerating, and therefore we can’t know for sure when important things to happen the first of these technology impacts and what have continued to occur. But cinema is much more than that. The film is a scientific research tool, intellectual, philosophical. Therefore it is very important to be aware of the progress of language, what is it, what is said and how you say from now on. It seems to be almost impossible to imagine something from what we know today, our current capabilities, but it is clear that humanity is developed together with theaudiovisual technology, and one day will be very close fit to face this new kind of creation.

In its early years, Latin American cinema was very influenced by French, Italian and Spanish. But then, Latin American cinema was quickly controlled by the Hollywood film. Over the years, Latin Americans could show its uniqueness with its Spanish-language productions. In the beginning, Latin Americancinema loomed large as a teaching tool, political, social and historical. So the film became the best way that means to communicate problems and realities for each country. It was due to cultural considerations that prompted the implementation of the New Latin American Film Festival of Viña del Mar 1967, considered a milestone in the further development of Latin American cinema. The creators ofthis festival were the Chilean filmmaker Aldo France, president of the Cine Club de Viña de Mar, Alfredo Guevara, director of the Cuban Institute of Cinema and film industry and ICAIC Argentine producer Edgardo Pallero. In this way, filmmakers met from the first time from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and Cuba. It is here when it first try to give a...
