The Beatles were an English rock band; formed in Liverpool in 1960.This band were one of the most successful bands around the world. The members of The Beatles consisted of John Lennon, PaulMcCartney , George Harrison and Ringo Starr .Between the four of them John Lennon was the most important member of The Beatles. John Lennon was an English singer-songwriter who rose to fame as one of thefounding members of The Beatles. I am sure that without Lennon the Beatles would never have reach so far as it did with his help. I am convinced of that because he was in charge of composing most of thesongs the Beatles had and he also was the one that creates the best and most famous songs of this amazing band. Many people also admired because he was not only a singer, composer and artist, he was apeace icon by been an important peace activist. He was such an important member for the Beatles because of the energy and happiness he transmit to their fans especially during the concerts.

The songs made by Lennon were made with extremelygorgeous melodies that make you travel to a fantastic world of peace. Songs as "Strawberry Fields Forever," "Norwegian Wood," and "In My Life," was made with a deep musical sensibility. He’s songs wereconsiderate genius because most of them show a reflective, utopian and realistic vision of life. Lennon's album sales in United States were amazing, he also was responsible for 27 number one singleson the US Hot 100 chart and the fact that he was ranked as the fifth greatest singer of all time can prove the world that he was the most import member of the Beatles. Many people also admired becausehe was not only a singer, composer and artist, he was a peace icon by been an important peace activist.
