Living in a new country

Living in a new country for working reasons has some advantages, but also disadvantages. Although, I’ve never been working abroad, I have had the opportunity to live asimilar experience in my last year at the university. Concretely, it was a practical subject and one the best decisions I’ve ever made.
The first of several advantagesof working abroad would be the stimulus to learn or improve a different language as well as to get involved in another culture and way of life. Another benefit would bedeveloping personal abilities such as autonomy, socialization or adaptability in a foreign country. Furthermore, it is very important the fact that you learn newaspects about your profession related to management and how to carry out tasks. In addition to this, it is interesting to add the experience at the CV since companiesgenerally appreciate it.
On the other hand, there are also disadvantages to take into account before going abroad for working. Concretely, the worst part of the experience ishomesickness, especially during the first weeks while you are trying to adapt to the new circumstances and you haven’t met anyone yet. However, it can be overcome onceour relationships have been spread and being in daily contact with your family. Another negative point is connected to documentation; there are hundreds of things tosort out such as the bank, ID, mobile phone, etc. Even so, it is just at the very beginning.

In my opinion, good things prevail over the bad ones, so I stronglyrecommend it to anyone who has the chance to live the experience, not only for the personal fulfilling, but also a professional future with a wider range of possibilities.
