During the 20th century, the growth of mass media was driven by technology and all of its creations. Physical duplication technologies such as printing, record pressing and film duplication allowedthe duplication of books, newspapers and movies at low prices to huge audiences. Radio and television allowed the electronic duplication of information for the first time and its shocking how day byday the greater part of people are getting addicted to everything that mass media constantly is bringing to us.

Nowadays Television is the biggest influence to young people, the freedom of programsis turning into a problem to society, violence, sex, drugs and alcohol in programs has been showed in schedules not appropriate to a family context, So, ¿Is a bad or good influence?, taking intoaccount the control that should be given by the parents of the adolescents TV sometimes could be a bad influence to them if it isn’t controlled by the right way.

One of the most important things for ateenager is a computer and a cell phone, in 2006, January the third, internet reached the one hundred million of users and it is foreseen that in ten years the quantity of users of the red willincrease 2.000 millions, normally kids and teenagers lose control in the time they spend using internet and most of their parents don’t take care about the good or bad use they’re giving to it, it could behomework as well as pornography.

In the other hand elements of mass media like newspaper are totally healthy to anyone, they inform us how is it going in our country and show us the most importantnews, so in conclusion mass media could be bad or good influence depending how parents control its use in its children, is important to take care of the time your children spend in internet, thethings they watch in TV but if they use it in a correct way.
