Muse

Muse está compuesto de tres integrantes: el cantante, pianista, guitarrista y letrista Matthew Bellamy (9-6-1978), el bajista Chris Wolstenholme (2-12-1978) y el batería Dominic Howard(7-12-1977). Se dieron a conocer hacia 1998 (curiosamente en EEUU mucho antes que en Europa) y hoy día son sin duda uno de los grupos británicos más importantes de todo el mundo. Su sonido se hacomparado muchas veces con el de Radiohead, pero desde luego son bastante diferentes; entre otras cosas, Muse suelen incluír en sus canciones riffs de piano inspirados en el compositor rusoRachmaninov, y son más melódicos y menos aficionados a los sonidos electrónicos que Radiohead en sus últimas etapas (aunque en el último disco parece que han empezado a experimentar más con laelectrónica).
