My Trip to Colorado
One of the best places I havetraveled has been Colorado State. The day I took off to Colorado State was raining very hard. I remember that the flight was on a Tuesday at 5:15 a.m. Thus, it was still dark and there were no signs thatthe rain would stop. Then, when the airline sent me to go inside the airplane, the rain worsened. The drops hit the windows so strong that it seemed they were going to break them. I felt as if amonster was blowing so hard that the plane made certain movements. Although in my mind I prayed that the flight would be cancelled, the captain continued with the takeoff procedure. The only thing I coulddo was close my eyes.
When I woke up, the picture was completely different. It was get into a paradise. The sky was totally clear, had neither a white spot. Also, the sun seemed as if it waslighting a stage. The birds were flying side by side with extreme happiness under a bright sunshine. Although a bit warm, the temperature wasn’t uncomfortable due the air was freshening the place. Icouldn’t remember how scared I was that morning.
The view from my room in the hut I would stay captivated me. On the left side, I could see a river. The surface seemed to be full of sparkles. Also, theshore was full of flowers that look were playing with the water. The sound that the water made when it hits the rocks was like an invitation to get into it. The river wasn’t deep; so, I could get into itwithout fear of drowning. Certainly, it was the activity I enjoy most.
On the right side, I could see a group of mountains. They seemed to be walking straight towards me. They were intimidating andbeautiful at the same time. The mountains were covered with different kind of flowers with white, yellow and violet colors. By far, the colors of the flowers made straight lines on the field. It...
