The Internet carries various information resources and services, such as electronic mail, onlinechat, file transfer and file sharing, online gaming.

But there are advantages and disadvantages of the internet as a means of communications.Nowadays almost everyone in the world has had a contact with the internet. The advantages of the internet are many:

- On the one hand, internet is avirtual treasure trove of information. Any kind of information of any is available on the Internet. Others advantages of internet are email and chats.Internet mails get in a few seconds in their destinations it is faster than sending a normal letter, and with the chat you can talk with people who arein their home in another country for example, and it is much cheaper than phoning. Beside a lot of advantages, Internet has some disadvantages too.-On the other hand, the Internet can by addictive. Some people just can’t live without it. They have no real friends and when Internet is down they areangry. Other disadvantage is if you use the Internet, is that your personal information such as your name, address, your credit card information etc,can be accessed by other people.

All in all, I think using internet has more advantages then disadvantages. In my personal experience internet is agood work tool, and it allows me to chat with my friends. If you are responsible internet can help you in many things in your personal and working life.
