Introduce Story-Telling project. | Students will beable to understand the setting, plot, characters, and story line in a fairy tale. | 15m. T-Ss | Jack and the Beanstalk fairytale video. | T will introduce Ss to the fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk,through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic means. Using this multi-sensual approach, T will help the students understand the setting, characters, plot, story line, and new vocabulary in the story. |Make sure Ss understand the whole vocabulary of the story. |
Plan the Story telling. | Ss will be able to work together with their classmates to write lines for actors in the story | 25m. T-SsSs-Ss | Paper | Ss will be divided into groups of 5/6 . A leader will be chosen for each group. His/her responsibilities are making sure that the group writes its own script (lines) for the story, andthat each member of the group has a role in playing out the fairy tale. | Each group will choose a fairytale they know and like. Fairytales should not be repeated. All Ss should participate and giveideas. |
