SOCIAL PRACTICE: follow steps in an instruction manual in order to make a product. |
LEARNING ENVIRONMENT:Academic and educational environment. |
PRODUCT:Illustrated instruction manual to make an object (kite, origami, mask) craft. Stage 1. Choose an instruction manual to put together an object. |
BEGINNING: Ask Ss if they know what crafts are. Show Ss one of your own to help them figure out what they are. Explain that in order to make a craft, you need to follow instructions. |DEVELOPMENT: Ask them if they know what instructions are and what they are for. Show them some other models of crafts to help them realize how to build them. Give Ss different manuals in order to explore them. Identify the parts of the manual. |
CLOSURE: Help them notice they need to follow instructions to get to a product. Activity on notebook. |
ASSESMENT: individualparticipation of students.MATERIALS: Manuals, Pictures and crafts. |

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: Academic and educational environment. |
PRODUCT:Illustrated instruction manual to make an object (kite, origami, mask) craft. Stage 1. Choose an instruction manual to put together an object. |BEGINNING: Show them some other models of crafts to help them realize how to build them. |
DEVELOPMENT: Look and read the instructions of other objects, and identify which one matches with the model shown. |
CLOSURE: Order the steps of the product. |
ASSESMENT: individual participation of students.MATERIALS: Manuals, Pictures and crafts. |

PRODUCT:Illustrated instruction manual to make an object (kite, origami, mask) craft. Stage 1. Choose an instruction manual to put together an object. |
BEGINNING: Ask if they know what monsters are. Encourage Ss to describe a monster of their own. Play a monster´ssong. |
DEVELOPMENT: Ask them to list the kind of materials they would need to build a monster´s mask. |
CLOSURE: Order the steps of the product. And draw the steps. |
ASSESMENT: individual participation of students.MATERIALS: Manuals, Pictures and crafts. |

SESSION 4 |
SOCIAL PRACTICE: follow steps in an instruction manual in order to make a product. |
LEARNING ENVIRONMENT:Academic and educational environment. |
PRODUCT: Illustrated instruction manual to make an object (kite, origami, mask) craft. Stage 2. Identify the instructions and the list of materials. |
BEGINNING: Sing the monster song. Read the list of materials the named last class. |
DEVELOPMENT: Give instructions using symbols to make the craft. Scramble all the instructions. Have Ss come to theboard to unscramble the instuctions for them to remember the order of steps to make the product. |
CLOSURE: Activity on notebook, order and draw the instructions. |
