Article 1: Ethical Dilemmas of Cloning
http://ivythesis.typepad.com/term_paper_topics/2009/04/ethical-dilemmas-of-cloning.html
My reflection: Cloning should not be allowed because it is morally wrong. All what it do, is make a life from a scientific procedure, and life is something that must come from a natural way. Today, doctors that cloned people are nottaking into account the value of life. When you clone people, you do not respect the dignity of them, and you treat them as if they were an object or something else. Also when doctors cloned people, they may be complications during the procedure, and therefore bad effects on the baby. Although advocates of humans cloning said that the use of cloning would give medical breakthroughs to find curesof some diseases, they are not thinking well in the repercussions that cloning will have in a future, as psychological problems of identity (to know that is a copy of another person), and certain level of discrimination by people around them, because they will see them as experiments and not as humans. During my lifetime, my parents and my religion (catholic) have taught me the value of life andthat the only person who can take this right is God, our creator. I think if you want to have a child, you have many options, which are morally approved, such as adoption.
Article 2: The Ethical Dilemma of Human Cloning

My reflection: Life starts at the conception and once the embryo exist it must be treated as a person, andthus destroying embryos and using them only for the purpose of research, as in the case of cloning, are not considering or respecting the human dignity. As you know, in cloning many sperms fertilized the egg, but only one of them survives, since all others are destroyed. This is an act of violence, because they are determining what to do with the lives of people, deciding whether to kill or not,or do something else with them as freeze them in a laboratory. By doing this, they are being treated as chemicals, which only serve to run experiments. Everyone has the right to be unique, because God created us with different skills and ways of thinking, and when you clone people, you deprive them from this right. We need to preserve the diversity and uniqueness of men, as well as the respectfor nature and domains of God. In this article, they say that cloning is a natural process, but it is not true because you are genetically manipulating the birth of a human being in a laboratory, without being a product of love.
Article 3: Ethical Issues of Human Cloning
http://www.ehow.com/about_7229106_ethical-issues-human-cloning.html
My reflection: In your life you have a purpose, somethingyou must do. When a person is created, he brings a life project that he will seek to perform throughout its existence. This project represents the why of all the things that you must do, in order to be a good person. God called us to life for a reason; we are not here by accident (as happens in cloning). From this article, I am in disagreement with the supporters of cloning that see it as a steptowards improving life, and as a chance to dictate nature. They believe that, since humans naturally create life, humans also wield the power to improve life, but this is absolutely wrong, because nobody own anybody, we are all equal and we are masters of ourselves and of God. Today, many people (referring specially to babies) need a new organ to stay alive, since the other no longer serves, sothey resort to therapeutic cloning, but in this type of cloning the replica is not naturally created (because in some cases, it has many chemicals to keep the organ functioning), and replicating an organ without replicating the entire human is not guaranteed; therefore, they threaten the baby´s life, without he or she knows.
