Short Story

This story is about a young man called Adam, he was a common guy who studied and practiced tae kwon do. He liked that sport a lot but struggled because he had asthma. He always said that it wouldn’t be a reason for leaving his dream of becoming world champion.
He started participating in local tournaments, he had some defeats but didn’t give up, after a long time, he started a winning streak anda year later, he was on another level and won his pass to the Pan
Then he started to prepare full time, everything was fine until a day a group of men put him on a truck and carried him to a road. There he was recruited by Mexican cartel members, he thought that he wouldn’t live anymore, so he decided working with them at least before he passed away.
He received training by the organization’sbest commander. Two weeks later the commander said: “tonight we leave for the border for helping our peers and win this war “, as a matter of fact they didn’t know what they´re waiting for
When they were underway, they saw a military checkpoint and found it easy to face them but they didn’t think that there were many Mexican Army and Marines members, all of the sudden “The shooting” started, itsounded as if it were a terrible war, The cartel members were running out of their weapons so they withdrew but the Army followed them many miles until the cartel members decided to separate what it was their biggest mistake
The armored truck where Adam was fleeing had some failures caused by the army´s shoots and they had to stop at the middle of the road, Adam was the first on left the truckand ran on the wild forest, he could escape but at the same time that their peers left the truck, they were riddled by the Army
Adam walked many hours until he saw the US border so he decided to cross it, while Mexican media left him for dead and his family lamented his loss
At the beginning it was difficult because he didn’t know anyone and if he tried to come back, the army could catch him.After 2 days, he met a man who offered a job on his hardware
Two weeks later, he found a gym to continue practicing Tae kwon do, the first day he caught the attention of all his peers because he could made excellent all the kicks

There, he met a beautiful and sweet girl named Clara who invited him out for dinner. She introduced her father and some of his employers because he was an importantentrepreneur
He fell in love with her, everyday he talked with her at the gym and one day she told him that her father fired his bodyguard because he had stolen him some money and sold some important information about his company, so he visited her father and asked if he could get the job, but he did it with the excuse to spend more time with Clara and thus conquer her
He worked his new job fulltime and moved to Clara´s house, in few days he achieved to be Clara´s boyfriend and always said he was the world´s happiest man
Everything was so good that both talked about marriage plans, until one day appeared Alex, who was a handsome model that for a long time had been Clara´s platonic love. Clara returned to have illusions with him, so she broke up with Adam
Adam fell into a terribledepression, a month later, Clara got engaged to Alex and put a date for the wedding, when Adam heard, he got too badly, in fact he lasted 5 days without eating, so he decided to come back to Mexico
He bought a plane ticket, and he would quit his job that night, while he ordered his bags, Clara´s father asked him to take him to a gala party organized by his boss
Unfortunately Alex´s car had somefailures and they had to come back for him, but what they didn’t know was that Max had hired a group of armed men for kidnapping Clara and cashing a billion dollar
They picked up Alex and when they went to the party, 5 trucks with 4 guys each one and closed the street shouting “We came for Clara” “Give her to us and nobody gets hurt”
Clara´s father tried to call the police, but for a strange reason...
