People are looking for superheroes, they imagine them and invent them, we can see them in movies and TV shows. It seems like we need a superhero that saves our life’sand fight against evil but we are too blind to see that they are around us. Maybe superheroes don’t exist but heroes do, you just have to open your eyes and look around. One of those heroes aresingle mothers.
A single mother is a mother that takes care of her child or children without the assistance of the father. Today single parenthood is a problem all around the world just in the US 26% ofthe children under the age of 18 lived in a single-parent home* just to give an idea of this number Children under age 18 made up one-fourth of the U.S. population (24.6%) and Us population is of305,505,073 habitants. This means that 75154247.96 are children under the age of 18 and 19540104.47 children lived in a single-parent home. This is twelve times the habitants of Queretaro and moreless 24425 times the students of this school. I think it is a huge number of children living with just one parent. This brings a lot of problems to the children , it can influence in his developmentthey can have psychological problems because of that paternal figure that is missing and much more. But the mother is affected too.

There are many reasons for single motherhood to occurs; such asdivorce, adoption , artificial insemination ,death, abandonment, extramarital pregnancy etc. I’m going to Focus in extramarital pregnancy. The cause of these are sexual relationships among teenager,product of the sexual disorders that teenagers are living today. Is not easy for a teenager to be pregnant and have a baby, many of them opt for abortion, because it is the easier way, or at least theythink so. Because they belied that having an abortion will solve all the problems that the baby might bring, but an abortion can bring more trouble than the baby himself, it can affect the mothers...
