Are working mothers good mothers?

TITLE: ARE WORKING MOTHERS GOOD MOTHERS?Many stories have been written about work. For example, we can mention “The Fable of the Ant and the Grasshopper” by Aesop, in which the hard working person is rewarded and the lazy person is punished.Therefore, in the story written by Somerset Maugham, we can notice that not always the working person receives a prize, but, what happens when a working person is a woman? Are women rewarded? Or, arethey punished by leaving alone their children while they are working? Because, it is clear that many people, who live in this chauvinistic society that think that it is not so good to work if you area mother. However, people have to take into account that there are single mothers who need to work and other mothers who want and choose to have a job. Moreover, necessity or choices have nothing todo with being a good mother.
It is really worrying that in these modern times there are still closed minded people who can not accept that women have an occupation. Indeed, there many singlemothers those have to work to support their children. Furthermore, for these women it is not easy to make the decision of working, because, they have also the responsibility to bring up their childrenalone. So, the way is clear; they need money...they have to get a job. As an example, I want to tell you about my friend, Natalia, who is a single mother. She is a secretary and she works from 7:00 a.m.to 15:00 p. m. everyday. As a consequence, she is without her daughter many hours per day, and she feels really guilty. Nevertheless, she recognizes that with the money she earns, she can give herdaughter a good style of living. As a result, it is obvious how much she loves her daughter and how much effort she does to be an excellent mother. Actually, something similar occurs with many women...
