EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
VEGETAL SYSTEMATIC IN UNIDAD EDUCATIVA BILINGÜE
“JULIO VERNE”

The current research project is on vegetal systematic, taking into account the relevance of plants. For a long time man has triedin several ways to classify plants. Teofrasto and Aristoteles were considered the parents of Botany because they classified plants in accordance to their characteristics.
Based on works developed by such two great scientists, Botany was considered a scientific discipline, and a significant amount of known species were added to the records and diffused worldwide.
Such events encouraged Galileo,Kepler and Descartes, who started using scientific terms and language which were then perfected by Carlos Linneo, who in turn led to the creation of the binomial nomenclature used to identify all studied species by a gender and specie, which conformed a scientific name.
The research project submitted is intended to identify the plants existing in the yards, hallway and patios of the UnidadEducativa Bilingüe “Julio Verne” by applying relevant methods to systemize and recognize them in a concrete way so that students can understand how important plants are in the development of life. Furthermore, it is my major concern to arise awareness in the students of the institution, that if plants are maltreated, species shall become extinct, leaving future generations with no knowledge on them.For my investigation I carried out bibliographical web research and also field research in the National Herbarium and The Botanic Park. This information helps me to systematize the plants of the institution classified each one
