Starbucks – Summary
Starbucks Corporation specializes in the sale of coffee, handcrafted beverages and fresh food. Nowadays it is directed by Mr Howard Schultz, who also is the chairman andpresident. Starbucks’ stores and kiosks sell a line of coffee beverages, a limited selection of whole bean coffees and few accessories, such as travel tumblers and logo mugs.

The company, through alicensing relationship with kraft foods, sells a selection of starburks’ products in grocery and warehouse club stores throughout the US Kraft manages all distribution, marketing, advertising and promotionof these products.

Starbucks licenses the rights to produce and market starbucks branded products trough several partnerships both domestically and internationally, for example “ the north Americancoffee partnership”, a joint venture with the pepsi-cola company who manufactures and markets “ ready to drink beverages”.

Starbucks is the only one super premium national brand coffee in the US.HISTORY
