Dear Heike
How are you? I haven't heard from you for a while, so I thought I'd drop you a line and give you some of our news. The most important thing to tell you is that we have seen a new house tobuy! We left to see it last week, and we think wonderful. We agree on a price last night, and with a bit of luck, we might be in it in a couple of months' time. We haven't got sell our house yet,but I don't think it will be difficult.
I'm going to the estate agent this afternoon.
The children are all fine. Did you know that Joanna has gone in the Far East for the past six months? She wasin Melbourne for a while, but now she went Australia and met to Indonesia. She's going to spend a few weeks there and then she's coming home. She's having a really good time. Jason fell in love with alovely girl called Rosene! He has left her at a party last week, and he thinks she's the most beautiful girl he have to ever found . I don't know how long the romance will last - we'll see!
Maggiehas some good news, too! She won first prize in a ballet competition last week. She try go to the Royal Ballet School in London for the whole day, and this morning we have be a letter saying thatshe had won, so we're all delighted.

¿Cómo estás? No he oído hablar de ti por algún tiempo, así que pensé enescribirle unas líneas y darte algunas de nuestras noticias. Lo más importante que contarte es que nosotros hemos visto una nueva casa para comprar! Nos fuimos a verla la semana pasada, y nos parecemaravilloso. Acordamos un precio anoche, y con un poco de suerte, podríamos estar en ella en un par de meses. No hemos conseguido vender nuestra casa todavía, pero yo no creo que vaya a ser difícil.
