The Lumiere Brothers And The Cinematographe.
The Lumiere brothers are considered historically as the fathers of cinema. They invented the cinematographe (considered the first film machine) based onthe Kinetoscope by Tomas A. Edison.
It´s known that the Thomas Alva Edison Kinetoscope, at that time allowed the viewing of moving images. The French inventors basically designed a system thatallowed the screening of films in large spaces. But precisely with this took the first step in the creation of modern cinema, to which hundreds of thousands of people around the world today come daily toadmire the films of their favorite actors and directors. It is fair to say, therefore, that with the invention was born one of the industries most influential in culture and contemporary society.Worked as camera and projector simultaneously: the pictures were allowed and also projected on a screen. The apparatus was driven manually by a handle allowing intermittent entrainment of the film at arate of ten frames per second.
The December 28, 1895, made the public presentation of the cinematographe at the Salon Indien of the Grand Café on the Boulevard des Capucines in Paris. That projectthe film shot three days earlier, "the exit from the Lumiere factory in Lyon" The audience reaction was favorable, so much so that in the next few days, would be formed before the Grand Café endlesslines.
