-genre: adventure, fantasy, friendship, mythical
-theme: Western Civilization is it really centred in America?
The classical legends

-fiction: yes, there are monsters involved
-main idea: never give up since Tyson, Clarisse, annabeth, percy and grover NEVER EVER gave up.
-setting: past
-conflict: the borders of camp half-blood are poisoned and percy,annabeth and Tyson must get the gold fllece and find grover. to find the golden fleece.
-Internal conflict: basically, percy Jackson (son of Poseidon), Tyson (percy’s cyclopes half-brother), Clarisse (daughter of Ares) and annabeth ( daughter of Athena) try to go get the golden fleece from the cyclopes so they can save half-blood hill. They also need to save grover from having tomarry cyclopes and make Clarisse dad proud.
-external conflict:
• -plot: In The Sea of Monsters, a 13-year-old demigod Percy Jackson goes on a quest with his friend Annabeth, a daughter of Athena, and Tyson, a Cyclops, who happens to be Percy's half brother. They go to save Thalia's pine tree, which has been poisoned mysteriously , and to save Grover, Percy's best friend. In order to get theGolden Fleece, which will heal the tree, he must travel across the omious Sea of Monsters to an island guarded by the Polyphemus and his man-eating sheep, where his friend Grover is trapped. Throughout the journey, Percy, Annabeth and Tyson face many challenges, such as the Sirens, Scylla, and Hydra. During the climax of the book the trio fights with Luke, an old friend. Back at camp, since Thalia'stree is injured, the magical borders of Camp Half-Blood have been going down, allowing monsters to enter the camp. Chiron has also been suspected as a perpetrator, and replaced by the extremely antagonistic Tantalus, who was cursed to an eternal fast for serving his own children at a feast for the gods. In the end, Percy rescues Grover, defeats Polyphemus (with help from Tyson, who was thought to bedead by that time), and retrieves the Golden Fleece. Chiron is re-hired and everything seems to be perfect. When they return to camp, the camp places the Fleece on the tree. The next day, Grover awakens Percy to find out that the Golden Fleece also brought Thalia back to life. Giving Kronos another chance to control the prophecy.

-characters: Percy (Perseus) Jackson is a half-blood, theotherwise ordinary son of Poseidon the sea god and his own human mother. He has to discover his own abilities and overcome his dislike of his unwanted friend and half-brother Tyson.

Tyson is also a son of Poseidon although of a different race. Younger than Percy and sometimes embarrassing to him, he is nonetheless immensely strong and very affectionate.

Annabeth is the daughter of Athena and ahuman father. Confident and forceful, she nonetheless values Percy's friendship.

Clarisse is the feisty daughter of Ares, God of War. She feels the need to prove herself to her father and to the other half-bloods.
-main character: Perseus "Percy" Jackson is the protagonist in Rick Riordan's fantasy series, Percy Jackson & The Olympians. He serves as the narrator, as well as the story's hero.Percy has been shown to be smart, often facing dangers and going into fights, to help prove himself. He often puts others before himself (such as Annabeth, Grover, Thalia, and even people he doesn’t like). He has a strong sense of right and wrong and will often oppose evil. Throughout the series Percy is also shown to have a sense of humor. It is said by Athena that Percy's fatal flaw is personalloyalty. He will sacrifice anything to save his friends and loved ones. Many times in the series Kronos or Luke uses Percy's fatal flaw to manipulate him.
Summary: Percy Jackson finds himself on a quest to rescue his satyr friend Grover, at the same time finding the Golden Fleece which alone can save the poisoned tree that protects Camp Half-Blood. He's helped by Annabeth and Tyson and,...
