When Henry VIII became king of England, made a Reformation: a Religion Revolution.
Cuando Henry Vll comenzo a gobernar Inglaterra,realizo una reformacion, un cambio en algunas reglas sobre la religion catolica que se llevaban a cabo hasta ese momento en Inglaterra
He said that HE was going to rule the Church, not the Pope anymore,He proclamed himself the Head of the Church.
Dijo que el iba a mandar en la Iglesia y no mas El Papa. Se proclamo la "Cabeza" de la Iglesia.
So he was able to divorce Catherine of Aragon (who washis wife) and marry Anne Boleyn without the Pope s permition.
Por ser ahora el quien mandaba en la Iglesia, pudo divorciarse de su esposa Catherine y casarse con Marry sin el permiso del Papa.
Hebelieved that he couldn t have sons because God was punishing him for having married his brother s wife.
El no pudo tener hijos, y penso que Dios le estaba mandando eso de castigo, por casarse con laesposa de su hermano Arthur.
The consequence of this reformation that Henry VIII made in England was: The Christian comunity was separated in two groups: The Romans (they continued with the old waysof religion) and The Protestants (the ones who suported Henrys ideas)
La consecuencia de esta revolucion que Henry VIII hizo en Inglaterra fue que los cristianos de Inglaterra se dividieron en 2grupos: The Romans (los que seguian apoyando la religion antigua, la romana) y The Protestants (aceptaban las ideas de Henry)
