Titanic

In the story "Finding the Titanic", by Dr. Robert Ballard, gives us details of how he found the boat and how was the sinking of it. This is base on survivor's interviews aftera long time of the accident. One of those survivors was Ruth Becker who spoke about her experience being on the Titanic. The ship sailed the day Wednesday, April 10, 1912.The Titanic collides with an enormous iceberg. This occurred on April 14, 1912 at 11:40 pm. After Capt. Smith checks the damage concluded that the ship will sink in an hour anda half. He gave the order to low the lifeboats that carried the boat. In the ship, the passenger Ruth was accompanied with her mother and siblings. When Ruth's mother found outabout the accident, she takes her children to the deck. It is at this point that the family was separated, as Ruth was mounted on the lifeboat number 13 and his mother andbrothers on the boat number 11. The Titanic had lifeboats for only 1.178 people and the boats had 2.227 people. After the sinking of Titanic, appears Carpathia of the White Star Line 4hours after of the accident to rescue survivors of the tragedy. It is in this boat that Ruth and her family are reunited and brought to New York in the course of two days.In conclusion, the story of the Titanic was the opposite of what people that made the ship said: ¨ not even God could sink this ship¨. This was the publicity given to theTitanic to brag about its safety. The man can not challenge the power of God. I believe that Titanic's story is interesting and very detailed, we see that after more than a centurycontinues to draw attraction and curiosity. I recommend other people to read and interested in important details that arouse curiosity in the misfortune that marked the Titanic.
