PROJECT “GINGIVITIS”









PARTE I

INTRODUCTION
The gingivitis is a problem a levelinternational since as the people both women and men of several ages aren´t have information about this, and don’t have a good cleaning of the mouth aside from poor oral hygiene leads to bacterial build up and plaque, with resulting tissue damage and inflammation. Other risk factors include smoking, viral infections, diabetes and hormonal changes, especially in women.
Gingivitis is arguably the mostcommon condition seen by dental professionals, yet the risk factors are often ignored and the underlying causes are poorly understood.
Most of the adult population has varying degrees of chronic gingivitis and the condition can affect all ages. 
The causes can be classified as local; relating to accumulation of micro-organisms and food deposits around the teeth, and systemic, whereby particulardiseases, altered hormonal conditions and certain lifestyle factors increase the risk of the disease. It is important that dental professionals can effectively identify, treat and prevent recurrence of gingivitis.
The motive of this document is inform about this illness, its causes and consequences besides we are show graph of a polls that we realized to several people both expert and childrenfor see if the people know about the illness if themselves brush the teeth and the frequency besides if go to the dentist.
Also we want that the people are prepare because Anthony Summers says that emergency department staff should familiarize themselves with basic mouth and dental problems so that patients receive appropriate initial treatment before being advised to see dentistsGingivitis is a disease that can affect many people is were most important questions that can answer questions and so you know more about it because you can have the disease and not know it, waiting and this project will serve and reports thereon.

Gingivitis is caused by:
* The lack of oral hygiene food deposits can accumulate in these
