Non-proliferation Treaty:
Is and international treaty whose objective is to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and technological weapons through the world.The principal goal is to make world disarmament. Also including the 5 more arm states. This treaty comes for signature on 1968, and takes force on 1970. It isplan that it has to be renewing each 5 years. To achieve the goal the UN have establish safeguards that are inspections of the IAEA (international atomic energyagency). They go to the country and verify that there is not using or are trying to using nuclear weapons.
Summary of the treaty:
Considering all the dangersof a nuclear war, we have to make preventions, so this doesn’t happen.
First Article: Each state that make part the treaty can’t pass weapons to other nations,or give them the control of it directly or indirectly. And either can animate a state that doesn’t have weapons to have it or to start constructing them.
SecondArticle: Each non-nuclear state that is part of this treaty can’t receive or take the control of other states weapons. And also don’t search or receiveinformation of the manufacture on nuclear weapons.
Third Article: Every state that don’t posed nuclear weapons, however have to accept the safeguard by theinternational atomic energy agency. The state has to agree the visit with the agency. This is use to check that any country is using them.
Any state can give to othersstates that don’t posed weapons (except if the agency required them):
a) Special or fissionable material
b) Special equipment or machines to produce weapons
