Fer Reading Report 13-3-2011a) My favorite part of the story is when Phileas Fogg decides to rescue the young Indian lady, Mrs. Auoda for being sacrificate.
b) My least favorite partis when the Sioux enters to the train where Mr. Fogg and Passepartout were. Passepartout starts fighting and disappears.
c) Character’s traits:
1) Mr. Fogg is very exact and organized, hecounts the steps he makes and in his journey he had a time scheduled.
2) He likes playing whist. In the trip, he found partners for playing whist.
3) He is solitary; he lived alone almost allthe time.
d) One minor character is Mrs. Auoda, she is very nervous sometimes, but she is considerate with Mr. Fogg for his favor of rescuing her.
e) Title: “Around the world in 80 days”.Author: Jules Verne
Setting: It takes place in almost all the world. Some places are Suez, Bombay, Calcutta, Hong Kong, Yokohama, San Francisco, New York and London. It takes place in the year1872. They traveled in boats and trains.
f) The message is that if you believe in you, you can make what you propose.
Mr. Fogg always went to the Reform Club. One day, they talk about a thief thatwas in many places of the world. On member of the club made a bet to go around the world in eighty days, he was Mr. Fogg. He and his servant went around the world facing obstacles and problems.After 80 days, they returned to London, but 5 minutes later the time said .Mr. Fogg was sad, he will lose $2,000, and polices thought he was the thief. During their journey, Passepartout didn’t changethe hour to his clock, so they knew that they had arrived one day earlier.
