Decreasing use of the mail (post office)

The mail usage has been decreasing in a dramatic way the last years. Each year, month and day the number of users is decreasing. These statistics do notgive any possibility of a positive change. In other hand if this problem persists, unfortunately there is many possibilities for this service to disappear, because it is impossible for a company suchas the post office keep functioning without customers.
There are many causes for which people decide not to us the post office service. Some of the reasons include the cost of the service,availability of technology ( internet), companies offering paperless billing, online contact is more convenient.
The increase prices in gas and basic goods for the operation and functioning of this companycauses the increment on the prices of the service. Although the increase is minimal, customers who use it often are the ones who really notice the difference and suffer the impact of the change. Forthis reasons customers decide to opt for other alternatives which in most cases are free. Some examples include sending emails to friends and familiars, enrollment payment online, less paper billing,online accounts and many others online services. I really liked to cooperate and support our post office but after sending all my payments thru the mail, paying for envelopes, stamps, and making timeto make my trip and stop by the office, I realized it was a waste of money and time. Since I have online accounts I can pay my entire bills by electronic checks for free.
The development, increaseand the availability of technology have been essential factors for the decreasing use of the mail. These days it is common the use of internet and mobile phones have large packets of text messages,which are used instead of sending of letters.
