King Arthur was and still is an important figure in literature. For decades, it has shown us his way of life and the values for which he stands for as a knight andking. He believes in loyalty, honor, respect, and bravery. That is what I think would make a great king. That is why I choose the part where Arthur pulls the sword out ofthe stone because it shows that no ordinary person could have just pulled the sword. It was destined for someone great who would lead England into a great future withmuch joyfulness to come.

I love how this scene sets the tone for everything since it is the beginning of a great man and the great king he will become. It didn’treally matter if he was known or not, the people stood by him and truly believed in what the stone had written. Even if many people tried to pull the sword out of thestone, he was the only one who could really do it. I believe that Arthur is a famous role model that every person should follow. He believed in fairness and equality for thepeople of Camelot. Maybe he knew nothing about running a country filled with many people, but he had Merlin who was his voice of reason in his life.

Thinking back,I think that Arthur was truly a great thing due to his actions and that is why he is still remembered to this day. That is why we still read about him and learn hislegendary legacy. We must learn to adopt some of his values since now a day we have lost most of them. Today, showing respect has lost its way in young people and evenadults. Arthur believed in respect to his people no matter what rank or social status they were in. King Arthur’s legacy and magic will live on forever in our hearts.
