A young dancer named Nina, New York ballet lived with his mother, Erica, a retired dancer. She believed that her daughter was still a baby.

The ballet company in New York waspreparing a new production of Swan Lake. The director decided to choose a new dancer for the lead role because it believes that its current principal dancer, and does not call much attention. The playershould be able to play both the innocent and the wicked White Swan Black Swan. Nina is selected to compete for the role along with other dancers. After the hearing is under fire, as well as interrupted bythe new girl, Lily, Nina visit to Thomas to ask him to reconsider the role. He tells her systematic way of dancing and delicate making it ideal for the White Swan, but lacks the passion and thefluency of the Black Swan. Then force a kiss on her until she gets to chew on. Later, she is chosen to be the Swan Queen. One patient faces Beth Thomas and Nina, for the matter and then is hit by a carthat breaks your legs and Thomas believes it was a suicide attempt.

Nina begins to witness strange happenings around him. Thomas, meanwhile, becomes increasingly critical for the dance "frigid" Ninaand the Black Swan and tells him to stop being such a perfectionist and simply lost in the paper. Later he meets Lily, who happens to be the opposite of Nina, as well as being described by Thomas as atalented and open to dance, so Nina begins to see her as a threat. The relationship between the two dancers do not start well because Lily's indiscretions, but to compensate, this Nina comes home andinvites her to a night out. Nina refuses at first but decides to leave when his mother intervenes. During the evening, Nina Lily offers a capsule of ecstasy. Upon returning to the apartment completelylost, Nina has another fight with her mother, she locks herself in her room and has sex with Lily.
