Communicative Languge Teaching is a method that is learner-centered and emphasizes communication and real-life situations. At the begining this method wasvery difficult to defining because had many ways to treat. One of the things that we can mention is Notional – Functional Syllabus which was principal author that gave the “push toward communication”through the “function” and “notion” and what now is known as CLT. Basically, this method is about the role of the instructor in the classroom making fields about real situations that involve studentsto create their own idea about the things such as asking someone for the time that will vary according to their reactions and responses. In the traditional classroom, the teacher is in charge and"controls" the learning. In CLT the teacher serves as more of a facilitator, allowing students to be in charge of their own learning. Unlike the audiolingual method of language teaching, which relieson repetition and drills, the communicative approach can leave students in suspense as to the outcome of a class exercise, The real-life simulations change from day to day. Student’s motivation tolearn comes from their desire to communicate in meaningful ways about meaningful topics.
Nowdays this method is trying to do and use carefully tools that help students to increse their linguisticfluency, not just inside the classroom but also outside the classroom.

Well, in my personal opinion I am agree with this method since it give us the opportunity tointeract with our social environment. This method has important targets because is a good way to introduce to the field of a second language. When you are studying a second language you have to knowat least a little bit about the culture, the country or something like that, bacause according to your learning you are going to apply and translate the theory of this method to real life situations....
