1.4 Economic sector in which the company participates:
They belong to the nutritional economic sector and in Colombia; they focus on 4, 5 and 6 socialeconomic level. Their prices according to their products are accessible for these social economic levels.

* Political: Colombia is a democratic country, which during the last years,with Alvaro Uribe’s government, has been growing in terms of investments, trades and external relations.
The investor confidence has improved, because Alvaro Uribe has promoted the privateinversions to the Colombians and to the foreign people. Big companies, and big investors, have power in our country; they are the ones that mostly influence the decisions in this sector.
The democraticsecurity has also helped to improve and promote the investments in Colombia, because the foreign entrepreneurs feel safer now, the companies have lower risks of being affected by the violence or thecorruption, and the inversions are more stable, for a longer time. In the last years, the PIB of Colombia has grown quickly, despite the international crisis. During the financial crisis in the world,Colombia has maintained the access to all international markets of capital.
The confidence and trust is essential for business to work, and to investors to invest. In Colombia, the internal securitypolicy, developed during the last government, has been the key to the success. If the country its secure and safety for the Colombians, then it’s going to be safety for the foreigners.
The problemhere is that a country, cannot depend on their government to be safe or not, but unfortunately, it is always related. A possible solution is to search for candidates to the presidency that havesimilar goals. But, there are other issues that are also important and in which other candidates are focused on.
