1. Explain the 2 experiments of Brian Wansik and which was the reaction of the buyers before and after the experiments.Brian Wansik investigates the way people shop in stores, supermarkets doing experiments.
So then he placed some posters in the store to recreate the experiments, he makes two experiments.
The first one was to put a poster saying “soup to 79 cents”, then we can see that the people didn’t pay much attention when they were looking the offer of the soup, but then when Brian placed the othercartel saying “Soup to 79 cents just, limit 12 per person”, things changed, lot of people started buying 7 or 8 per person.
But what said consumers about their sudden enthusiasm for the soup?
They said, like I see an offer I thought to seize, because soup not spoiled and rich.
Then Brian asked to other person, How much cans of soup did you buy if you see a poster saying 79 cents? . The personanswer: Usually not much just 4 , but like this can of soup are in offer I buy the limit. Means 12. And the answers of other person were the same . They but more than usual, like people see that the soup cans were in offer they buy more and more.
So we can see that people used to buy more with the poster with limit than the poster tat doesn’t have anything. The offer in some products used to catchconsumer in order to buy more and more

2. Why shopping in a supermarket is considered as a complex experience?
Supermarkets are places visually complex, our brain assimilates going into another state of consciousness without us noticing.

We cannot absorb everything and we do not. People come to a subconscious behavior, are not able to tell if a product is out of context, if it is located ina completely different place than it should be, people do not often notice.

3. Why shopping in a supermarket with a list is not a good idea to save money?

Many people think that when going with a list to realize his purchases they would spend less since they did not buy anything by some impulse, because to some people she passes the opposite to them.

The people who count on a list atthe time of realizing their purchases delay more in the store and when happening but time in the supermarket they buy things that did not think to buy.

After to buy all products that she needs, she use to remove marks of products to present each product to her family as her product, maybe because she want to offer a personnel meal to her family and an special product made for her not a product from that or this brand.
5. How brands influence our lifestyle and how can determinate oursocial status?
Nowadays it’s common to see the streets full with advertisements and publicity. All days we are attacked by posters that advertise brands, as the video says, we are marketing’s victims. Also, the labels are so representative of the 20th century that a London Museum has created a place with all famous labels of the market.
