The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

The book tells the story of Bruno, a German boy who lived at the time of the 2nd World War, whose father is a Nazi military... This child lived in Berlin, he wasvery curious, had an exploratory character and was innocent as this does not occur account of the catastrophe that they are living.

One day after school to find that the maid was packing his thingsand his mother tells him that his father had risen and it was very important that the family moved to Auschwitz, this was not liked by Bruno but had to resign.

Upon arrival to their new home would bedisappointed because this wasn’t what he expected, and there was nothing to what was used in Berlin and there are no children to play with her sister as well which did not get along. He realizes thatthings had changed since he had soldiers coming in and out of their home as nothing...

Bruno realizes that from his bedroom window you can see a fence within which there are many people, adultsand children, all wearing striped pajamas...

After a while the child is bored with his new home and decides to go exploring like he used to in Berlin, he walks to the side of the fence and after awhile, and have not found anything he think that the best would come back ... But realizes that there's a child, this is Shmuel, a Jewish boy who lived with his father and grandfather on the other sideof the fence which also used the striped pajamas.

Bruno and Shmuel started to saw them daily except on days that it was impossible, for a little over a year, Bruno's friendship with the boy in thestriped pajamas were the only thing that makes Bruno likes on his home at Auschwitz...

But Bruno's father decides that the best thing were that the boy, Gretel and his mother return to Berlin,Bruno quickly goes to tell his friend, and decide that as Shmuel doesn’t find his father, they would get one last adventure, and plan going exploring to search his father the next day...
