HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT 1

In this study we have analyzed the distance that a football player can cover in one Champion League match. We have considered all the positions of the team so the data wasmore complete.
We’ve ordered the data from the higher to the lower so in the first place we have the midfield players and the forward and at the end of the table we will find the defense and finallythe goal keepers. We have found interesting the distance that this last players cover in a match, someone can think that a goal keeper hardly cover one km in a match but the truth is that they can coverup to 5 km.
On the table of excel we can appreciate some important data, in first place we’ve calculated the mean and as a result we have found the mean absolute deviation. In this column we canobserve that the deviation of the data below (goal keepers and defense) is more than the one of the top (forward and midfields).this is confirmed with the skewness that is negative. Although the range islarge, with the kurtosis and the quartiles we can observe that most of the data is grouped in the middle-upper values so there is a jump between the low positions and the rest of the team. This tellsus that in a football team most of the players who are in the same positions (with some exceptions) cover more or less the same distance in a football match. As the data is from the Champions Leaguewe have to assume that most of the players are very good trained because they are in the best teams of Europe.
Our second move was to create the table so we could draw the different graphs:In these two graphs we can observe the cumulative data. We see that there is a big difference from the players that cover from 3km to 9km and the ones that cover from 9km to 16km. Most of the data isaccumulated in these last frequencies.

On these two other graphs we see the simple data and it is easier to observe with more attention the kilometers where the players are grouped. It is...
