Cinderella stories: Essay

In this essay im going to compare and contrast different versions of Cinderella stories in this case I will use the Block Method where I will present subject by subject.In this case I will use Aschenputtel, Yeh-Shen, And Little Gold Star: A Spanish Cinderella Story.
Aschenputtel is a retold german version of Cinderella, Aschenputtel was the only daughter of arichman and his wife. She´s mother died and time later her stepmother came, with two stepdaughters they were mean and strong with her ,and as she was all dirty they call her Aschenputtel. Some magicaldoves that were in Aschenputtel House´s Garden , Helped her in what she need. The plot of this story is that one day in a prince castle there was going to be a party for the prince to choose his wife .The conflict was that Aschenputtel wanted to go to this party, But her stepmother would not let her go. This is finally resolved by the help of the doves, Then she marry the prince and the doves getthe two step –sisters eyes out. I think the theme of this story is the humility Aschenputtel Shows.
Yeh-Shen is a retod Chinese version of Cinderella , Yeh-Shen was the daughter of a man with two wifesand she haved a step-sister. By the time her mother died, And his father too. Her step-mother has take care of her , Where they lived in a cave house In a mountain. There was going to be a party onthe village to the young people know each other. The stepmother know that if she let Yeh-Shen go , Her daughter Would not found someone , Because man will see first Yeh-Shen beauty. The stepmother toldShen she could not go because she does not have a dress. When Shen get a dress , The night of the party she get in without her step-family know it. When she leaved , Her Slipper felt out of her feet.A prince wound the slipper and he start to call women to go to his castle to try the slipper .
