GOAL
Kuno Becker is the principal actor in the movie Goal, starring also by Stephen Dillan, Alessandro Nivola and Anna Flein.
This movie takes place in the city of Newcastle, Los Angeles and partof the country of Mexico, approximately between 2003 and 2006.
This film is about a Mexican guy called Santiago, who moved to the city of Los Angeles with his family since he was a child, lookingfor a better place for living, where they could accomplish the famous “American Dream”, but even when it was his father dream, Santiago had another one, which was against his father thoughts andbelieves. However, the circumstances were against his dream, he never gave up and fought until he got to reach his GOAL.
Santiago wanted to become a professional soccer player, and he was on his way toreach it, but the circumstances always were against him.
In the middle of the movie, Santiago seemed to be close to join the Newcastle star team, and then is when the movie gets more intense, because hestarted giving his all to show his manager that he was able to join the star team.
At the end of the movie, finally Santiago received the opportunity to play in the star team, and he showedeverybody how good he was playing soccer, he started a relationship with the girl he had felt in love and received the news that his father saw him playing soccer.
This was a good drama which teaches theperseverance of one guy that fought until the end to become what he wanted to become. It shows that you never should give up, even when everything seems to be against you. That always there’s a way toarrive to that place that you’re dreaming, and someday if you are still walking for your dream you will get it.
This film encouraged me to be positive and continue fighting for my dreams, and taught methat if I want to get what I have dreamed, I have to be always focused on that, and never look behind.
I enjoyed watching it. It’s a beautiful movie with a great message.
