The Chichimeca jonaz use the word Uzzah, "Indian", and its plural Ezar "Indians" to refer to themselves and any indigenous person. Spanish speaking only used to callthemselves, the words Chichimec Chimeco or meco, so far there is no certainty about the meaning of the word Chichimec.
location
The Chichimeca jonaz live in a community in the municipality of San Luis dela Paz, in the state of Guanajuato. They named this place Rancho UZA (Indian Ranch) or Mission Chichimeca. The municipality is rural, and the mestizo population predominates in the region and in themunicipal seat.
Rancho Mission Congregation, recognized by the Civil Registry of San Luis de la Paz, is divided into two parts by the bypass road to San Luis de la Paz: Down the Mission, to the west,and the Mission de Arriba, the east.

The Huichol people called himself Wirrarika or Wirraritari (plural). It is unknown at this time if the Huichol word comes from a corruption of the termWirrarika.
location
The Huichol inhabit Mezquitic municipalities and Bolaños, north of the state of Jalisco, and La Yesca and Nayar, in the state of Nayarit, and there are minority groups in the statesof Zacatecas and Durango.
There are five ceremonial centers where traditional governments are installed: San Andrés Cohamiata (Tateikié), Santa Catarina Cuexcomatitián (Tuapurie), San SebastiánTeponahuaxtlán (Wautia) and Tuxpan de Bolaños (Tutsipa) in the state of Jalisco, and Guadalupe Ocotán (Xatsitsarie) in Nayarit.
The Huichol population sits scattered in the territory. While in JaliscoHuichol have succeeded in thwarting the Métis Settlement within their communities, in Nayarit is frequent coexistence in the same territory with Cora or mestizos.
