THE ART OF PARKOUR – FREE RUNNING The art of Parkour or Free Running is a way of life, developing the body and mind. The philosophy of Free Running is to view the environment, urban or natural and its obstacles as a series of challenges. You will learn from the best, Free Running pioneer, Sébastien Foucan, to overcome these barriers with fluidity. You will be joining an elite group of athletesknown as “Les Traceurs” or “Tracers” (Free Runners) and will be racing against Free Running members of an organisation known as Urban Freeflow, to possibly become the greatest Tracer of all time. The challenges ahead require supreme physical strength and imagination. Have you got what it takes? GETTING STARTED 1. There you must chose one of the five available profile slots, and will be asked to enter a name for your profile. This can be anything you like, up to eight characters in length, with the default entry being “Player 1”. Once you have enteredyour name you can choose one of the seven Tracers to represent you within the game. Each of the Tracers has three basic statistics. From the top, there is Run Speed, Durability and Sprint Speed. Run Speed is how quickly your character moves across the ground. Durability is the amount of damage the Tracer can sustain. Sprint Speed is their additional pace when activating your Sprint Boost. Thesestatistics are represented by coloured bars, with green bars showing above average abilities and red bars below average. All of these statistics can be modified by changing the clothing that the Tracer wears. Choose your Tracer carefully – once you have selected a Tracer for your profile, you will not be able to switch to a different Tracer without beginning a new career. All Tracers, plus anyadditional characters you might find later in the game, are always available when creating a new profile or when playing multiplayer games. u
