HISTORY
He was born on September 11, 1987 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The son of Sahrawis, is the fifth of six children
He was gradually losing sight until completely lost after eight years. At the eight years he went blind. Because he had Glaucoma.
He was sent to the College of ONCE in Madrid, where he lerned to swim, Since 13 years began training the swimming Whit him first coachRamon del Villar who told “you can do it, just have to find the how”.
CAREER
* In 2002 in Mar De Plata (Argentina) was the first “big competition”, he did not win.
* In 2003 Canada in the World. He won six medals ( 2 silver and 4 bronze)
* In 2004 participated in his first Paralimpic Games. He won two bronze medals
* In 2006 in a World Championship, South Africa. He won six medals(2 silver and 4 bronze)
* In 2007 in Brazil´s World Cup. Emerged as one of the best swimmers in the world because he won 4 gold medals.
* In 2008 played again in Paralympic Games in Beijing. He won 4 gold medals, 2 World Records, one in Europe and one Paralympics.
* In 2010 in Beijing at the World Cup. He won five medals ( 4 gold and 1 silver)
* In 2011 in the Berlin European. Hewon five medals (3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze) in the category of S-11 totally blind
COHACHING
What coaching is the process by which a person, identified as "Coach", accompanies another from its current state to its desired state.
The key word used is "accompany", ie it is a process by maieutics and use of various tools and codes, which allow the client (coachee) to develop all the skills youhave and the skills needed to achieve the goals proposed.
I always emphasize that it is the person who scores the goal, decide where to go and which way to go. My job as coach is precisely focused on enabling and encouraging the way the Coachee proposed.
Ten years in the elite sport have helped me to develop a series of key examples and tools that have been very important to get all the goals Ihave set so far. With all this experience I have gathered valuable information for the improvement and personal development.
I was able to give presentations at various schools throughout Spain, for children and youth of all ages, in the Canary Islands, Madrid, Andalusia ...
I've done training and I have collaborated on change processes in large companies like Repsol and Leroy Merlin, andeducational associations as Attendis.
We are the protagonists of our own history, and as such are the same person involved in our personal lives, professional sports, etc.., So developing ourselves to ourselves as we face our lives in all areas.
I do not think the problems go away, not even to be reduced, but I firmly believe that if we grow, we face them with another vision, tools andcapabilities.
In the current situation is becoming more imperative to think otherwise. The world moves faster and faster all around, there are exponentially improvements in all areas, which increasingly emphasizes the need to have a mind that knows flow with this movement, and a character that can cope with integrity and balance. Mergers, changes in markets, difficulties in business due to lack of staff,taking on new roles, reconciling personal and professional life, etc..
The procedure that I have always been useful, plan intelligently, grow in a balanced and enjoy the change.
In my own life I have learned that change is possible if you find the tools and people to facilitate this.
That's my job and commitment to acquire customers who request it.
