Universal Studios Hollywood is a movie studio and theme park in Universal City community of unincorporated Los Angeles County, California, United States. Is the originaltheme park Universal Studios. Woody Woodpecker is the mascot for Universal Studios Hollywood and the rest of the theme parks Universal Studios. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood moviestudios still in use.

Fox had opened its studios inCentury City in 1928 on land that was once merged with Fox Pictures twentieth century (which had been founded in 1933 by Daryll Zanuck, after leaving Warner Brothers), and the company became the 20thCentury Fox in 1935.
This is a minor Hollywood studio, not affiliated with any particular motion picture company. Instead, it rents out its back lot and its twelve sound stages to differentproduction companies for movies, TV series, music videos, and computer/video games. Yes, video games! One of the first interactive games, 1994's "Switch," starring Deborah Harry(lead singer for the group"Blondie"), was filmed on Sound Stage 5 of Hollywood Center Studios.
