LA ACCIÓN DIRECTIVA Y LA CAPACITACIÓN DEL PERSONAL DOCENTE DE LAS UNIVERSIDADES.

Resumen

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación existente entre la acción directiva y la capacitación del personal docente de las Universidades, con el fin de cubrir la brecha existente entre el perfil real y el ideal de losgerentes educativos con el propósito de dar a conocer los beneficios que tiene la función del gerente, al fortalecer la capacitación de su personal docente. La investigación se fundamento en las teorías de acción directiva de Oscariz J. (1999), Fullan (1989), Gairín (1997), liderazgo de Richars L. (2000), capacitación de Egg (1982), grados (1999) y Pinto (2000). El tipo de investigación correspondió a ladescriptiva correlacional, la muestra estuvo constituida por 28 directores y 426 docentes, a quienes se les aplicó un instrumento de 28 reactivos de alternativas abiertas y a los directores un cuestionario de 20 reactivos con las mismas alternativas. Los datos fueron procesados mediante estadísticas correlacional y descriptiva, lo cual permiten evidenciar los resultados obtenidos, donde sereflejo que la acción directiva esta dada hacia una mejor capacitación de los docentes los cuales están prestos a prepararse cada día más. Todo esto conlleva al fortalecimiento de los objetivos de la educación universitaria, que no es más que el de contribuir a la formación integral del educando, enmarcado dentro de una labor conjunta, interactiva, cooperativa y coordinada por parte de los distintosactores educativos que concurren en una comunidad, en función a sus características de desarrollo y al contexto sociocultural en el cual se desenvuelven.

Abstract

The present study had like objective determine the existent relation between the managerial action and the capacitación of the personnel docente of the Universities, with the end to cover the brecha existent between the real profile and the ideal of thegerentes educative with the purpose to give to know the profits that has the function of the The educational managers with the intention of announcing the benefits that the function of the manager has, on having strengthened the training of his(her,your) educational personnel.
