[edit]Formation and Career beginnings (2006-07)
Redfoo and SkyBlu both grew up in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, where they formed the group LMFAO in 2006.[7]Redfoo is the eighth and youngest son of Berry Gordy, Jr., the founder of Motown, a Detroit-based record label renowned to be what The Jackson 5 were signed to for six years, and being the firstrecord label to be owned by an African American.
