* Sharing information about oneself is something that could be dangerous nowadays there are a lot of services such google maps that could help us to locate in a map where ourfriends are, but only if they want it.
* When people knows eachother they want to share information between them, but there are some people that you don't want to know everything about you,then when they make a request of information we need to have ways to block it or response with a lie.
* As the information is online and everyone can see it, it sometimes could be annoyingand people could have problems with their significant other, friends, etc. by hiding some information or saying lies.
* Nowadays everyone shares everything with everyone and this is not agood idea as it sounds, there are some things that we need to keep on privacy and only a few could know.
Google Latitude is a location-aware mobile app developed by Google. Latitude allows amobile phone user to allow certain people to track their location.
Amid concerns over locational privacy, Google announced that Latitude overwrites a user's previous location with the new locationdata, and does not keep logs of locations provided to the service. Nevertheless, Latitude users can opt-in to keeping a history of their locations in Google Latitude. At the end of May 2010,Google announced an API which allows applications to make use of Latitude data, with the user's explicit consent. This announcement included a Google application named "Location History" whichstores and analyses a user's location over time, for example attempting to identify a user's home and workplace.
