How can we stop air pollution?
An issue that concerns all of us today as human beings and especially to the people who live in Santiago is air pollution. The air can be contaminated inmany ways; however, it is mostly polluted by fumes from cars, public transport and cigars. Fortunately, there are a lot of ways to stop pollution and they are very easy to do. In this oratory, I amgoing to present them immediately.
The first thing we can do is to recycle our garbage, that’s because when your garbage is discomposing expel toxic gases into the air and also bad smell.Things we can recycle are plastic bottles, aluminum cans and other organic things which could be wasted in special compotes. If we recycle our garbage we will be helping the air smell and protectingthe environment.
Another thing we can do is to walk or ride a bike instead of driving cars. It’s so bad when you have to go somewhere near you and you do it by car, this is pollution withoutsense. Therefore, I advise you walk or ride a bike because it can bring you some benefits such as improving your shape, reducing the acoustic pollution, and saving money in gasoline or publictransportation.
The last way to don’t pollute the air is to stop smoking and using fireplaces. The combustion of both of them produces a big percentage of smog present in the air, and if we breathit, is dangerous to our health. The biggest problem about this situation is that produces acid rain. This is a kind of rain that harms plants when it rains and also degenerates the process ofphotosynthesis.
In conclusion, the three best ways to reduce the air pollution are recycling our garbage, riding a bike, and don’t smoking or using fireplaces to get warm. If we do it, the planetwould be a best place to live, and we’ll be ensuring a better future to the next generations.
