INTRODUCTION
Tulum is the site of a Pre-Columbian Maya walled city serving as a major port for Cobá. The ruins are situated on 12-meter tall cliffs, along the east coast ofthe Yucatán Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Tulum was one of the last cities inhabited and built by the Mayans.
The next essay it’s going totalk about the airport that is situated in this archeological area, thinking about the advantages and disadvantages about this thing that are constructing.
BODY
As I alreadysaid, Tulum is a very important archeological area, which requires a lot of maintenance and cares, at the moment that the government decided to construct the airport in this areait’s affecting (not in a direct way) these gorgeous ruins, but why? Because it´s contributing to his own destruction.
At the same time we are contributing to the deforestationon green areas, because tourists most of the time they decide to throw their garbage in any place they look, these guys don’t even think to look for a garbage can to throw itaway.
But there are some advantages too, for example, this airport will increase the economy or the monetary support in the area and it will determine a secure annual increase.CONCLUSION
We can conclude that the construction of this airport in Tulum will have good and bad consequences. Bad consequences if we look at it with an ecologic point of view,because this world it’s our future, and another bad consequence it’s the destruction of this unique area. In the good ones, we are talking about an economic increase in the areabut if us be aware about the global warming and all the stuff we are living today you can see that money it’s only a piece of paper, to pay for things, not for saving your life.
